“Right Size” was the goal for returning clients when they lost their home to Hurricane Harvey. They reached out again to Janus Design Group as a trusted partner to help guide them in the process of designing and building their new home.
They knew how easy it was to work with Janus and her team after completing a number of successful projects together. The process from design concept, construction drawings, finding a builder, supervising construction, fixture, and furniture selection to hosting their first dinner party in their new home was made easy by clear communication and exceeding expectations.
The couple did not downsize but adjusted their square footage up to the “Right Size”. Their new home was built on their current property, located in their beloved neighborhood within walking distance to hike and bike trails and an easy drive to Downtown.
Knowing they would need to replace most of their lost furniture, they embraced the opportunity to have fun and create a gathering place for friends and family. Their fresh and inviting home was designed with architectural details, giving it a timeless feel, but also incorporates fresh applications of colors, use of wallpaper, and an inspired mix of furniture for personality that pops.
